Megan Makarewicz began her yoga journey over five years ago after having her third child. She was looking for a way to de-stress and find balance in her very busy life as a mom and wife. She fell in love with the practice because it helped her create calmness and confidence when life was hectic, and because of the inclusiveness she found while practicing yoga. Yoga connects and creates a beautiful community of people from all different stages and walks of life. She enjoys bringing yoga to under represented subsets of our community such as teens, athletes, and seniors. In addition to her RYT200 certification she has training in Yoga For Athletes and RAD myo-fascial release yoga. She loves sharing her knowledge of how breathing, moving, and aligning with our inner self can connect each of us with the present moment.
