Kember first started practicing yoga in the mid-2000s. A decade later, she stumbled upon Lift Yoga, a discovery that created a lot of positive change in her life. Kember completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training at Lift Yoga with Kim Saunders and Sue Hopkins of Etowah Valley Yoga. She then went on to complete a 300 hour advanced training through Johns Creek Yoga. Her instructing is heavily influenced by her teachers Sean Tebor, Ian Boccio, and Sheila Ewers.
Kember believes that movement and music are medicine, always syncing the moving meditation of the yoga asanas with a soulful playlist. Her classes will leave you with a balanced body and mind. She is known for handing out crystals and print outs on yogic philosophy, as well as incorporating mantra or drumming into her classes from time to time. Kember is one of those rare souls that doesn't just teach students about yoga, she embodies the yogic lifestyle, viewing life through a lens of compassion, honesty, and truth.
