Katie began taking yoga classes in 2012 and instantly fell in love with the physical, mental, emotional and spiritual benefits of the practice. Through yoga, she learned to explore and understand herself and the world in an honest and compassionate way. Eager to learn more, in 2017 she enrolled in Lift Yoga’s 200 Hour Yoga Teacher Training with Kim Saunders.
Katie has personally experienced the transformative power of yoga and through teaching, she hopes to share that experience with others. Her teaching style is graceful and flowy, but also curious and playful. She loves creative sequences and challenging poses, especially arm balances! She is also a Certified Barre Above Instructor.
Throughout her life, Katie has been an enthusiastic learner. In addition to expanding her knowledge of yoga, she enjoys studying art, design and history. She also loves traveling, running and reading with her book club.
